Buying guide

• Single or double ended: a double-ended pen lets you keep two blades ready – for example a fine blade and a shading blade – without swapping mid-session.
• Check the blade type the pen holds – flat/sloped blades (CF, U) or round-pin needles.
• Choose a weight and grip that feel comfortable for long sessions.
• The pen is reusable; blades are single use. Clean and disinfect the pen after every client as per your training.
• Pair it with sterile single-use blades and a paste pigment made for manual work.

How to use

• Fit a new sterile blade for every client.
• Tighten the lock until the blade doesn't move.
• Practise your strokes on practice skin first.
• After the session, dispose of the blade in a sharps container and clean the pen.
