Buying guide

• Blade size = number of pins: smaller sizes (7–9) for fine, short strokes; larger (12–14) for longer strokes.
• Blade shape (CF curved or U) and size change the stroke – test on practice skin to find what suits your technique.
• Use a new sterile blade for every client and dispose of it in a sharps container.
• Pair with a paste or microblading pigment made for manual work.
• Store sealed packs in a cool, dry place out of the sun, and check the expiry date on the box before use.

• Check the blade pack is sealed and in date.
• Fit the blade into your manual pen.
• Practise strokes on practice skin first.
• Dispose of the blade after one client.
